3 Ways to Increase Your Energy Level

Magnesium

There are certain chemicals that are proven to boost your energy levels, and it is definitely worth looking into introducing more of them into your diet. Take a look at http://www.webmd.com/women/features/10-energy-boosters#1 for a discussion on magnesium for this.

Magnesium has to be the most important of these, as it does a lot for your energy levels, and happens to be quite easy to incorporate into your diet on a daily basis. Magnesium is needed for more than three hundred biochemical reactions in the body, so this is clearly very important.

Antioxidants

It’s no surprise that antioxidants are good for you. After all, their main claim to fame is that they actively help to fight against cancer, and that’s obviously very beneficial! But they do much more than just fight off cancer. Antioxidants have been shown to help increase your energy levels as well. There are so many sources of antioxidants that you really don’t have an excuse not to get plenty of them in your diet.

You can go down the route of taking a Jeunesse Reserve supplement such as this one: https://www.skinstyleglobal.com/jeunesse-reserve-antioxidant/, or you could just get more fruit into your diet. Either way, this is bound to help you keep those low energy moments at bay much more often.

Waking Up

The way you start your day is likely to have a big impact on your energy levels for the rest of the day. If you press snooze and fall back asleep, it is likely that you will be interrupting your hormone cycle for the rest of the day and this is likely to make you feel more tired later on. However, if you manage to get yourself up and going right away, it will really make a world of difference.

Of course, this is much easier said than done. If you have difficulty getting up when your alarm goes off, it might be worth putting it on the other side of the room or treating yourself to one that walks around and hides until you find it. Yes, that exists! However, you do it, getting up early is going to help you out a lot when it comes to having more energy to get important things done throughout the day.

  1. Pressing snooze is something I have gotten into the habit of doing now that its winter, I had no idea it was so bad for me so I am going to have to stop doing that! I thought that pressing snooze would give me a few more minutes of rest rather than have a negative impact on my energy levels.

I also was not aware of the impact that magnesium plays in energy levels so thanks for that tip, I will make sure to get a magnesium supplement.
