Try Something New

One way to keep that motivation up high, even in the worst weather is to try a new fitness activity come winter time. In fact, this can be useful for a number of reasons. The first is that the appeal of doing something you haven’t tried before can help get you up and out of the house.

Also changing things up a bit in winter can be helpful because it allows you to consider what activities will be the best ones to do in the dark and the cold. Meaning, that instead of going out for a 6 am run each morning you go to the local heated swimming pool to do your cardio for an hour.
