REALHER MOISTURIZING LIPSTICK

RealHer is a brand that believes in uplifting women while enhancing their beauty with five richly colored moisturizing lipsticks. Each one is free of parabens, sulfates, phlalates and synthetic fragrances and they are formulated in California. You immediately know what this company stands for when you read the names of the lipstick colors (my favorite part): I Love Myself, I Define Beauty Myself, I am Powerful, Women Rule the World, and Be Yourself Be RealHer. Each one came in a sleek black box with their identifying color stickers on the side.

The packaging is simple but unique compared to other lipsticks I’ve seen or used. The casing is rectangular in shape, the cap is white with the RealHer logo on top, and the bottom is black with the inspiring lipstick color printed along one side in contrasting white.

I LOVE MYSELF

I Love Myself is a nude lip color that seems like it would look great on women of a variety of skin tones. It goes on matte and has a slight sheen to it. The name and color of this lipstick go together very well. Nude colors are usually a representative of one’s natural skin tone (or close to it). Loving your natural self is so important. Forget the the images of beauty “standards” we see on TV and in magazines. Much of it isn’t real anyway. What you see in the mirror is real, beautiful, and needs your love! 💖

I DEFINE BEAUTY MYSELF

This is a pretty mauve color that is perfect for a simple, everyday look. The softness of this pink lipstick can go well if you choose to do bold eye makeup. You can pair it with whatever look you want because you define your own beauty 😉.

WOMEN RULE THE WORLD

This bright pink lipstick is beautiful! It’s a shocking pink that is great for a bold pop of color.  Being bold is necessary when you’re determined to get stuff done and achieve your goals!

I AM POWERFUL

I am Powerful is a wine colored lipstick that is perfect for Fall. It’s very pigmented and will compliment many skin tones. Definitely a great color for influential women everywhere who embrace their power to make things happen.

BE YOURSELF BE REALHER

This is a deep red lipstick that is very flattering. I know the right red lipstick can be hard to find but this one is great for women who prefer deeper, richer reds vs bright reds. Some women shy away from red lipstick (I used to be one of them) but once you find the right shade you’ll be hooked! Be Yourself Be RealHer is also a great color for Fall and can be worn casually or for a night out. However you wear it, as long as you stay true to your authentic self, that’s all that matters girl!

I have swatched all five lipsticks and let me tell you, I am VERY impressed. Every last one goes on very smooth and creamy. The finish is more of a satin look because they have a slight shine to them. They are all very pigmented and don’t require multiple layers to get the color you see on the tube. I did not experience any dryness on my lips while wearing them either and removing them was as easy as swiping with a tissue or paper towel. You will have to re-apply a bit after eating but it goes on so easily that that’s not a problem. I did experience slight bleeding when I wore  Be Yourself Be RealHer but it wasn’t terrible. I think next time I’ll just be sure to use a lip liner to prevent that. Here’s how each color looks on me:

Although I’ve been so much in to matte lipsticks lately, the RealHer Moisturizing Lipsticks are a great way to switch things up. I love that it’s free of harmful ingredients and is not tested on animals. You know what else I love? With every lipstick purchased, RealHer donates 20% of all profits to the American Association of University Women (AAUW) to support programs that empower women and girls!  How awesome is that?! You can find out more information about the AAUW here.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve opened and/or used the lipstick or not. They will allow you to exchange it without giving you a hard time. That’s definitely a plus!

    1. I have that issue with matte lipsticks Tomiko (but I still wear them lol) but these are definitely different.

  1. I break out a lot and rarely wear lipstick, but l think l could wear these colors and brand. I like the fact that they moisturize too. I need that for my usually dry lips. Love the browns..

    1. Oh yes Kemkem, I think they’d be a good lipstick for fall/winter because they are creamy and they don’t dry out my lips at all.

  2. I love supporting companies that use their platform to send a message. Thanks for sharing! I absolutely love the mauve color.

  3. so I feel like I just might buy this just because of the detail on the lip stick itself. I love some customization. I thin k the brown on me would definietly need a liner.
